HPS Wheel & Axle

In Class:

• Discuss science fair weekly progress update sheets. First one is due next Friday, 12/7/2007.
• Finish lecture on screws (about 5 minutes)
• Lecture on Wheel and Axle, including mapping concept of wheel and axle as a modified version of a lever.
• RPS version (same as HPS) of lecture notes on screws available here.
• RPS version (slightly different from HPS) of lecture notes on wheel & axle coming soon.
  

Homework (due Monday 12/3/2007):

• Science fair schedules (what each team is going to accomplish along with due dates)
• RPS HW 4.10: Levers, Inclined Planes, and Wedges
(Though printed due date on the sheet is Fri 11/30/2007, the actual due date for this class is Monday 12/3/2007.)
