HPS Lab Equipment Intro

In Class:

• Questions related to HW 1.1: SI Units and SI Unit Conversion. (Then hand it in.)
• Measuring with correct precision on triple beam balance, graduated cylinder, & meter stick.
• Start procedure writing exercise (How to find the density of a small, irregularly shaped object)

Homework:

• Read pp. 10-17, 20-25. Do exercises #1-2 on p. 17, #1-2 on p. 25. Due 9/7/2007.
